Mr. Eazi Becomes The First Ever African Act To Be Featured On Apple Music's 'Up Next Artist' Series

Nigerian music star, Mr Eazi, who has been making waves for a while now, has made history as he becomes the first ever Nigerian and African musician to be named Apple Music's ‘Up Next Artist’.

This announcement coincides with a new documentary clip, a live performance and a Beats 1 interview of  the singer which will all be featured on Apple Music exclusively.

The 'Leg Over' crooner, according to Apple, will get his songs promoted on Apple's music streaming service and on the iTunes store.

The monthly Up Next Series, which was launched by Apple back in April is aimed at showcasing emerging artistes to the world.

The Up Next series launched with 6lack (aka Ricardo Valdez), a 24-year-old rapper and singer from Atlanta, back in April. He was followed by Norwegian singer-songwriter, Sigrid, in May and rising R&B star, Khalid, in June.

Mr. Eazi's music videos has already received multi-million views on YouTube with 'Leg Over' already having over 15.6 million streams.

In addition, Mr. Eazi has received shout-outs from several prominent artist like Rita Ora and Travis Scott. He has also had writing sessions with English drum and bass band; Rudimental, and English singer and songwriter, Ellie Goulding. Mr Eazi, has worked also with several Toronto-based artists and/or producers, including Nineteen85, Big Lean, Di Genius and Dre Skull.

The 'Skin Tight' singer is currently dating Temi, one of the daughters of oil mogul, Femi Otedola. Mr Eazi is a graduate of University of Kumasi, Ghana.
